Wellington must be our favourite NZ city; so vibrant and alive. It has a youthful buzz about it and a certain zany character. Good food, coffee culture and did I mention ‘good food’ – what more could you ask?
Our new place of abode is right in the thick of it. Three doors down from Caffe L’affare and just across the road from Moore Wilson deli. I think we can safely say we will be eating well.
We arrived in Wellington late on Saturday and so decided to eat out.

Phil and Hannah stayed with us for the last two days in Queenstown.
They had hired a campervan in Christchurch and said they would drive down. They arrived in what I would call an estate car; it did have some foam to put down in the back and two pieces of elastic for some ‘curtains’ on the back windows…
I know you were on a budget and wanted a ‘deal’, but I can’t help wondering if they didn’t ‘see you coming’!
