Last Sunday we attended a lively, all age service at New Life Church, Wanaka and today we joined an equally enthusiastic group of people at City Impact Church, Queenstown. Great to join in worship with other Christians. Both very welcoming churches.
Last night we went to the midnight service at Holy Trinity. We’d been to the church on previous visits to Tauranga and it was always a privilege to join in their services and worship. They have a great tradition of serving Christmas cake before the midnight service on Christmas Eve which added to the warm welcome!
After a google search we discovered a nearby church which held services in a lecture theatre at Monash Caulfield University.
It’s always interesting and uplifting to join with the worship at various churches in the areas we visit.
The Church of Christ was new to us and, by happenstance, we chose a Sunday when they were having lunch together afterwards. We joined them in the university quod under the Jacaranda trees.
Really lively worship, great enthusiasm and very welcoming people…
