Christmas Day walk

Our house swap home* is right next to the estuary and Fergusson Park. Today lots of people were out enjoying family barbecues… or for a cycle ride… or for a dip in the water or just for a stroll like us. The pohutakawa trees (nicknamed North Island Christmas trees) were in full bloom. Oystercatchers were amongst the many birds we spotted along the shore line. 1. Sounds super Val and Paul ! You are certainly close to Frances there. She often takes the girls to Ferguson Park so we go there every time we are in Tauranga too! She is back home now.
We’ll try not to talk too much about “gone to custard” and “stoked”!
Tomorrow we are off with the caravan to travel to Alisa and Clyde’s home.
    Keep the snippets coming x

    1. Many thanks Beth, David. We’ve been in touch with Frances this afternoon & she and the girls are coming over to see us on Thursday – will be lovely to see them! Safe travels to Motueka & do have a nice time with Alisa & Clyde & the children & send our love. See you soon! Love V&P xx
