We arrived in Wellington yesterday. Good to be back again. We took our customary walk along the waterfront and were pleased to see the bronze statue (Solace in the Wind) is still standing poised beside the water;  he still hasn’t managed to launch himself yet.

A group of tourists were taking pictures and one of them was trying to capture a photo of her giving him a helping hand – with her foot!
