We first saw this bird in the Botanical Gardens in Sydney. It looked very exotic and Val chased it around to take a picture.
However, as we progressed on our travels we found this Australian wader everywhere. it strolls along the rivers and foreshores and even between the pedestrians at the local shops.
Its a bit of a scavenger; like a larger less aggressive seagull…
We found these two in a tree , resting before their next foray.
A bit like taking photos of squirrels in London Val?! Might be time for some reverse teasing when you get back! 🙂
You could be right Rochelle!
Paul might also need some elocution lessons from you Rochelle(!) His vowels are becoming very Kiwi! xx
