Our first house swap home is in the leafy northern suburb of Hunters Hill. It’s a comfortable apartment close to all amenities including an excellent coffee shop which we’ve already frequented twice and the local park on the estuary. We have a choice of bus or ferry into the city, both only take 20 minutes or so. Perfect location!

Sounds ok but does it really compare with trying to get 7 x 6yr old boys to wear ‘dresses’ and tea towels on their heads; to encourage 8 angels to switch their torches on at the same time and to get 30 children to clap and stamp to ‘We will rock you’ beat?
