Our first house swap home is in the leafy northern suburb of Hunters Hill. It’s a comfortable apartment close to all amenities including an excellent coffee shop which we’ve already frequented twice and the local park on the estuary. We have a choice of bus or ferry into the city, both only take 20 minutes or so. Perfect location!

Korean BBQ
Wendy – a friend of our host – took us to this excellent restaurant in Eastwood the other evening. We knew Australians were famous for their barbies of course, but the Koreans have gone one better and put the barbie in the centre of the table!

This was our first glimpse of the iconic Sydney Opera House as we took the ferry to the city for the first time.
