This is all that’s left of our friends’ church in Sumner (south Christchurch). It was damaged by the quakes and had to be demolished. Lots of people in this part of the city lost their homes.

For the time being they hold Sunday services in Sumner school hall. Works well as a temporary solution but it’s still a stressful time for many.
